08/11/2005 16:06:05

A new survey has reinforced that - on average - New Zealanders are an active bunch in the bedroom.

The 2005 Durex Sex Survey shows kiwis are having sex 114 times a year - the global average is 108.

New Zealanders also ranked second highest in the world for one night stands, behind only the Norwegians.

On a less positive note New Zealand is ranked fourth in the world for the number of people having unsafe sex.

Sixty-five percent of those surveyed admitting to have unprotected sex with a partner without knowing their sexual history.

Daniel Carter has once again been voted New Zealand's sexiest male, and Nicky Watson the sexiest female.
