Strategic Finance put into receivership

12/03/2010 16:52:02

The plug has been pulled on Strategic Finance.

Receivers were called in today ending the moratorium arrangement that had been in place since December 2008. The company had failed to recover sufficient loans to make payments to investors in January.

Receiver John Fisk, a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, says he will be talking to key stakeholders over the next few days to determine the best way forward.

Also put into receivership are related companies Strategic Advisory Limited, Strategic Mortgages Limited, Strategic Nominees Limited and Strategic Nominees Australia Limited.
