Anti-whaling activist arrested in Japan

Anti-whaling activist Pete Bethune has been arrested on arrival in Japan.

He has been on board the whaling ship Shonan Maru No 2 since he boarded it to attempt a citizen's arrest on its skipper.

Bethune faces charge of trespass, which carries a penalty of up to three years in jail.
