12/03/2010 15:40:01

Rotorua police are searching for a missing 14-year-old girl and have grave concerns for her safety.

They are looking for Finesse Broughton who was last seen leaving her Mangakakihi home at 7am on Wednesday March 3.

Detective Sergeant John Wilson says she has a long-term medical condition which makes them especially concerned about her health and well- being.

Mr Wilson describes the missing girl as Maori, with a slim build and shoulder length dark brown hair.

Police believe she is in the Bay of Plenty or Auckland.
