Warriors allowed to play in alternative jersey

12/03/2010 15:08:01

The Warriors will get some respite from Queensland's heat on Sunday, with the NRL granting a late application for Ivan Cleary's side to play in a different jersey.

With the Titans opting for their white away strip to force the Warriors into wearing black, CEO Wayne Scurrah has negotiated for his team to play in their blue and green anniversary jersey.

The match kicks off at 1pm on the Gold Coast.
