The SPCA has laid charges against the two men accused of the shooting of 33 dogs in Wellsford in late January.

Russell Mendoza and Tony Campbell will be appearing in the Warkworth District Court. They face multiple charges of willful ill-treatment to animals because it was determined by the SPCA some of the dogs suffered before they died.

Mendoza and Campbell will appear in court on May 4.
