Sydney coach says Phoenix holds an edge

Sydney FC coach Vitezslav Lavicka believes the Wellington Phoenix holds the edge in morale heading into tomorrow night's A-League preliminary final.

While Sydney is aiming to bounce back from their narrow loss to rivals Melbourne in the two-legged major semi, the Phoenix go into the grand final qualifier soaring with confidence. They are unbeaten in their past five matches and roared to a 3-1 extra-time win over Newcastle in last weekend's elimination semifinal in Wellington.

Lavicka confesses he has got a job to do to make sure his troops do not dwell too much on their 4-3 aggregate defeat to the Victory last Sunday.
