Supporters farewell Phoenix

11/03/2010 15:00:01

The Phoenix have been given a rousing send off at Wellington Airport as they head to Sydney for Saturday's A-League preliminary final.

Dozens of well-wishers have farewelled the team, many decked out in Phoenix and Yellow Fever gear.

Airport ground staff have also got into the act, decking out the check-in counter in yellow and black.

Upwards of 500 fans are expected to travel to Australia for the match.
