Rise in job ads

10/03/2010 13:12:01

New job numbers have hit a 12 month high.

More than 12,700 job advertisements were placed on the Seek website last month alone. General manager Annemarie Duff says February has outperformed every other month since January last year.

The latest report also reveals where the new jobs are coming from by tracking changes in job growth across regions. Auckland lost its market lead to Wellington, which had nine percent growth, a 4.4 percent increase.
