Black Caps coach Mark Greatbatch has hinted there will be changes at the top of the order for tomorrow's fourth one-dayer against Australia in Auckland.

Greatbatch says they are taking the right approach at the top of the order but the players are not getting it right.

"We're losing wickets early. We seem to have had a reasonable run rate, but probably losing one or two too many in that first 10 or 15 overs. So you know, you could see change there."

Daryl Tuffey and James Franklin face injury tests this afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Australian test squad will be named at 3pm, with much interest in whether vice-captain Michael Clarke is included.
