Chasing 246 runs for victory, Australia reached the target with six wickets in hand and 2.4 overs to spare. Opener Brad Haddin top-scored with 110 and captain Ricky Ponting made 69. Earlier, Ross Taylor top scored for New Zealand with 62. Australia now leads the five-match series 2-1.
