Archibald to become most capped player

Black Sticks striker Ryan Archibald is set to achieve a major milestone in New Zealand Hockey at the World Cup in Delhi tonight.

Archibald will become New Zealand's most capped player when he takes on Germany for a spot in the semi-finals. He currently level on 238 international caps with former women's Black Stick Suzie Muirhead.

The striker says he never really thought he would play so many matches.

"It's nice to be a player in New Zealand that's played over 200 games, there's not that many of us."
