Breakers plead for sellout

Burger King Breakers coach Andrej Lemanis has issued an impassioned plea for fans to fill the North Shore Events Centre on Thursday night.

The Breakers must win their final home game of the season against the Gold Coast Blaze to have any chance of making the Australian NBL playoffs.

Lemanis says he wants a sellout, as it might be Tony Ronaldson's final game at the N-SEC.

"I know when we were in Adelaide and they celebrated Brett Maher's career it was a very emotional evening, and it really helped the Adelaide 36ers. Given this is such a big game for us, if the crowd can come in and help us ... that would be greatly appreciated."

Rick Rickert and Tom Abercrombie have been cleared to play after taking a full part in training this week. Rickert missed last week's win over the Wollongong Hawks because of an ankle injury, while Abercrombie only played a limited role.

Lemanis says both players have participated at practice this week, and both are okay as their physiotherapists have declared them good to go.
